It’s important that our employees be proud of their company. Let me give you one good indicator of the degree to which you’re accomplishing this. Take a look at the details. Prideful employees don’t say close enough. Nope, they won’t go home if the letter’s printed crookedly. They won’t let trash blow across the grounds. No, prideful people will stay until it’s right. So take a look at the degree to which your employees attend to the details. And if they are, in all likelihood, it’s a good indication you’re doing a terrific job of building a sense of pride.
