Strategic Marketing/Business Growth Manager

MindSet is a small business with an exciting mission, great momentum and a lot of opportunities for growth.  We exist to make the world a better place to work by developing leaders and improving workplace cultures.

We are looking to add a marketing professional to our team.  But we’re not offering a typical “marketing” role; and we’re not looking for a typical “marketing” talent.

The PERFECT CANDIDATE would be:

• Passionate about finding (and consistently executing on) ways to build our brand and grow our business.  Roles will include things like (please note that we don’t need extensive expertise or experience in these areas.  We’re just looking for the right person who has ideas and energy, a background related to most of this stuff and a willingness to figure the rest out 😊):
  • Developing inbound and outbound marketing campaigns
  • Overseeing our social media
  • Managing our website
  • Managing our digital newsletter
  • Developing strategy for advertising and promotion
  • Overseeing our CRM
  • Sales prospecting
  • Sales outreach (both phone and email)
  • Basic video recording and editing
  • Administrative support, and
  • An eagerness to learn whatever else a small, growing business needs
• A self-starter.  This person will need to be able to work autonomously and with minimal direction.
• A talented writer.  This person needs to have the ability to edit long-form content such as that on our MindSet blog and to communicate on behalf of our brand.
• Eager for the opportunity to do some amount of direct sales outreach.  This will be a small, but important, aspect of the position. (commission/bonus available)

Work Schedule: This position is almost certainly a full-time, salaried position (unless the perfect person convinces us otherwise).  But hours will be extremely flexible.

Salary/Benefits: The position will offer a base salary (with opportunities for performance bonuses and/or sales commissions).  No health insurance or other traditional benefits are offered.
